Angela Sage Larsen is the bestselling author of the Fifties Chix series for young teens about five time traveling friends. Also a teacher, speaker, mural artist, illustrator, designer and painter, she has brought her imagination to life through the Petalwink the Fairy storybooks, the first series in a line of kids lit with a conscience. Angela wrote and illustrated the seven Petalwink books especially for readers aged 3-6. The series ignited her passion for creating positive content for children, particularly girls who are being hyper-sexualized by the popular media. As part of her “Strong Girls x Good Books” campaign, Angela creates strong female protagonists with a focus on character education. She’s currently finishing writing the last book in the Fifties Chix series. The first book, Travel to Tomorrow, was a 2011 Goodreads Readers Choice Nominee and a #1 Amazon Bestseller. The author maintains a wiki and provides workshops, classes, and book clubs to enhance the Fifties Chix experience and encourage creative writing.
